Marie Lee Matthews

Marie Lee Matthews unexpectedly passed on the morning of February 18, 2024.

Marie was bought home on May 19, 2020, and was immediately mommy’s girl. She loved to make bread on blankets, and watch her mom while she slept; And, her doggy and kitty siblings are going to miss her terrorizing them so much.

Marie was a firecracker, she could be the sweetest ever and try to pop you the next, but she was perfect. She loved her treats and hunting for birds, there had been countless times her grandpa had to climb ladders and get her out of trees. She loved doing tricks for her treats, and loved to play fetch with her brother Johnny.

Marie was the most affectionate kitty ever, she’d keep butting her head into yours until you pet her. She loved sleeping with her mom, especially on her side and back. She loved to give kisses, and would lick her mom’s face until it was raw if we let her.

Marie was supposed to stay with her mom forever, she was supposed to move out and experience life right beside her mom walking on her leash, though now her little soul is able to rest peacefully

Marie will be missed by her whole family, her grandparents, and kitty and doggie siblings, i love you forever my sweet baby.

Mom can’t wait to see you again, my gorgeous girl.
