Ruby Tyree

Ruby (AKA Ruby girl, Rubes, and Ruby Dooby) passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024 at the age of 12. The void she leaves in my heart can’t ever be replaced, but I take with me all the loving memories we shared. Ruby always had such a loving, funny, kind, submissive nature about her. She never picked a fight or met a person or animal she didn’t love… except maybe cats. Think it was more curiosity! She loved walks, doing Zoomies around the yard when she was young, car rides, the beach, (even though she wasn’t a great swimmer) sun bathing, cuddling up to you, (especially during thunderstorms) and going out to any public place where people would stop to show her love. (Which happened quite often)
Over time I can only hope this sadness will turn to smiles thinking of all the great memories. I will always close my eyes and picture that sweet face, the head tilt, the perked up ears when she heard the words treat or ride, the wiggling nub, the curve of her body when she got so happy, and those deep beautiful eyes.
Ruby has helped me through so much over the years and she was the most loving loyal companion anyone could ever ask for.
We never have enough time with our fur babies, but their memories will always live on in our hearts.

Thank you for the time I got to share with you on this earth. Love you always and forever my baby girl.
