Trouble Connor Obituary

Trouble Connor

June 18, 2005 - March 31, 2023

Trouble passed away peacefully this morning in the loving arms of her mom, with her dad standing close by, and in the care of Dr. Gary at Gateway Animal Hospital.

Trouble was adopted when she was about 6 weeks old and has lived in her fur-ever home for 17 1/2 years. She always let a brother or sister know that she was here before them and that she's in charge. We would sometimes call her "Miss Queenie" because she was just that!  She was definitely an indoor cat but did occasionally like to go out in the front yard to chase a butterfly or grasshopper or just enjoy the sun shining down on her. She had four babies of her own with only one surviving and being by her side till the end. Trouble never really had any medical issues. Always a happy go lucky cat.

She is survived by 5 siblings: 3 dogs - Brutus, Pepper, and Sasha and 5 cats - Smudges, Rufus, Patches, Yoda, and Mina. As well as her daughter Little Bit. As you can tell, we are animal lovers. Trouble would never hesitate to go up and pop one of them with her paw if she saw them getting out of hand. She was so funny in her own special way. But her siblings definitely looked up to her.

At night, before going to bed, she was always the first on the bed, along with her daughter Little Bit and Patches. They would all three lay there with their paws crossed and listening so intently as I read a chapter out of the Bible. I would always tell them we were going to read, read, read all about Jesus. It was almost like they really understood.

Our hearts hurt for our baby girl because she was so much a big part of this family and will forever be in our hearts. But we are at peace knowing she is in a better place.

Fly high our sweet girl....You have definitely earned your Angel Wings! We love you fur-ever and always!

Love always Mommy, Daddy and Bubba (Uncle Ben)

A special Thank you to Paws 'n Reflect for taking our girl in and making the arrangements for her cremation. And to Dr. Gary at Gateway for being there by our side during this time and always being there for our animals care.
